From the\u00a0<strong>Settings<\/strong>\u00a0menu, select\u00a0<strong>POP\/ IMAP and Email Forwarding<\/strong>\u00a0and click,\u00a0<strong>Enable IMAP<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Launch the Microsoft Outlook application from your desktop.<\/li>\n<li>From the\u00a0<strong>Tools<\/strong>\u00a0menu, select\u00a0<strong>Account Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Email Accounts<\/strong>, select\u00a0<strong>Email<\/strong>, and then\u00a0<strong>New<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>Manually configure Server settings or Additional Server Types,\u00a0<\/strong>and click\u00a0<strong>Next<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>From the \u2018Choose Email Service\u2019 page, select\u00a0<strong>Internet mail<\/strong>, and click\u00a0<strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the &#8216;Add New Email Account&#8217; page, fill in the following details:\n<ul>\n<li>User Information\n<ul>\n<li>Your preferred display name<\/li>\n<li>Your @zoho.com email address (or your user@domain.com if your domain is hosted with Zoho)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Server Information\n<ul>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>IMAP<\/strong>\u00a0from the\u00a0<strong>Account Type<\/strong>\u00a0menu.\n<ul>\n<li>Enter imap.zoho.com as the incoming mail server for personal accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Enter imappro.zoho.com as the incoming mail server for organization accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Enter smtp.zoho.com as the outgoing mail server.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>More Settings<\/strong>\u00a0for advanced configuration details and enter the following information:\n<ul>\n<li>Username \u2013 The email address of your Zoho account (user@yourdomain.com for Email Hosting users \/ username@zoho.com for personal users).<\/li>\n<li>Password \u2013 Zoho Account Password (You may require an Application-specific Password if Two-Factor Authentication is enabled for your account.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Check\u00a0<strong>Remember Password<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zoho.com\/mail\/images\/outlook8.PNG\" alt=\"\" align=\"bottom\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"0\" vspace=\"0\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>More Settings<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>Click on\u00a0<strong>Outgoing Server<\/strong>\u00a0tab.\n<ul>\n<li><a id=\"alink2\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blogger.com\/null\" name=\"alink2\"><\/a>Select\u00a0<strong>My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Use same settings as my incoming server<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zoho.com\/mail\/images\/outlook5.PNG\" alt=\"\" align=\"bottom\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"0\" vspace=\"0\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Select the\u00a0<strong>Advanced<\/strong>\u00a0tab and configure the Settings as follows:\n<ul>\n<li><a id=\"alink1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blogger.com\/null\" name=\"alink1\"><\/a><strong>Incoming Server (IMAP):<\/strong>\u00a0993<\/li>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>SSL<\/strong>\u00a0from the drop down menu for encypted connection.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Outgoing Server (SMTP):<\/strong>\u00a0465<\/li>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>SSL<\/strong>\u00a0from the drop down for encrypted connection.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Ok\u00a0<\/strong>to be redirected to the \u2018Add New Email Account\u2019 window. Click\u00a0<strong>Test Account Settings<\/strong>\u00a0to send a test email.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zoho.com\/mail\/images\/outlook9.PNG\" alt=\"\" align=\"bottom\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"0\" vspace=\"0\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>When the tests are successful, Outlook will display a popup as shown below. Outlook will display a message at successful completion of Setup wizard.<\/li>\n<li>The folder structure in your Zoho account will be replicated here.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zoho.com\/mail\/images\/outlook11.PNG\" alt=\"\" align=\"bottom\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"0\" vspace=\"0\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><a id=\"alink4\" href=\"https:\/\/www.blogger.com\/null\" name=\"alink4\"><\/a>Specific Instructions for Outlook IMAP<\/h2>\n<h3>Sent Items<\/h3>\n<p>Our SMTP Servers automatically place sent emails in the Sent folder. However, if you send an email with Outlook, it also saves another copy in your Sent folder there.<br \/>\nTo avoid duplicates in the Sent folder, change the following settings:<br \/>\nIn Outlook 2007:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From the\u00a0<strong>Tools<\/strong>\u00a0menu, select\u00a0<strong>Options<\/strong>\u00a0and then\u00a0<strong>Preferences<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Choose\u00a0<strong>Email Options<\/strong>\u00a0and uncheck\u00a0<strong>Save Copies of messages in Sent Items folder<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In Outlook 2010:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select your Zoho account from the\u00a0<strong>Account Settings<\/strong>\u00a0menu and click Change<\/li>\n<li>Choose\u00a0<strong>More Settings<\/strong>, click\u00a0<strong>Sent Items<\/strong>\u00a0and select,\u00a0<strong>Do not save copies of sent items<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Downloading full messages<\/h3>\n<p>By default, Outlook downloads just the Sender, Subject, and the Date Information (headers) when syncing email. It downloads the full message only when you click on that email. You can change this behavior by changing the Send\/ Receive Settings.<\/p>\n<div class=\"note\">Note:<br \/>\nIn Outlook 2013, there are some issues related to Folders sync.
